Privacy Policy

 

The websites of the Red Nose Caring Clown Association, Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”), including Red Nose Doctor CRM, the Red Nose Doctor Charity Shop, etc., as well as all websites and webpages that may be added in the future (hereinafter referred to as “the Association’s Websites”), hereby explain this Privacy Policy to you in order to enable you to use the various services and information provided by the Association’s Websites with peace of mind and to protect your rights and interests. Please read the following carefully: 

 

Scope of Application of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Association’s Websites handle personally identifiable information collected when you use the website services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to linked websites outside the Association’s Websites, nor does it apply to personnel who are not commissioned by or involved in managing the Association’s Websites. 

 

Items to Be Notified Under the Personal Data Protection Act 

Pursuant to Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Act, the Association hereby informs you of the following:

  • Name of the collecting entity: Red Nose Caring Clown Association, Republic of China
  • Purpose of collection: To provide services related to the Association’s Websites, marketing, sales, membership management, and other marketing and promotional activities conducted in cooperation with third parties, including the collection, processing, and use of personal data by the Association.
  • Categories of personal data: Identification (name, address, contact telephone number, email address); characteristics (age, gender, date of birth, etc.); social circumstances (interests, leisure activities, lifestyle, consumption patterns, etc.); and other information (correspondence emails, website messages, system-generated activity records, etc.).

  • Method of use of personal data: Used within the scope of the purpose of collection and in accordance with these Terms of Use.
  • Methods for exercising rights over personal data: Pursuant to Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to inquire about or request access to your personal data, request a copy, request supplementation or correction, request that collection, processing, or use be suspended, and request deletion. The Association will process your request as soon as possible after receiving it.
  • Impact on rights and interests of not providing personal data: You may freely choose whether to provide the relevant personal data; however, if you refuse to provide or request deletion of the relevant personal data, and some or all of the relevant services consequently cannot be provided, the Association may be unable to perform the aforementioned services. We ask for your understanding.

 

Explanation of the Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data

  1. The Association may, through Facebook or similar social networking services, publish certain information from the Association’s Websites on your social activity page after obtaining your consent. If you do not consent to the publication of such information, please do not click the consent button. You may also subsequently remove such information through the social network’s membership mechanisms or refuse to allow the Association’s Websites to continue publishing related information. If you have any questions, please contact the Association, which will assist you in confirming and handling the relevant issues.
  2. Except for disclosures required by law to judicial, prosecutorial, investigative, or relevant competent authorities, or uses necessary within the scope of carrying out related activities, the Association will not arbitrarily provide your personal data to any third party.

Explanation of the Collection, Processing, and Use of Audio-Visual Records

  1. The Association may take photographs, record video, record audio, and conduct other forms of activity documentation during events organized by the Association itself, including but not limited to lectures, educational campaigns, courses, and workshops.
  2. During lectures, courses, or workshops, the Association may arrange still and motion photography to document the process. Ownership of the resulting photographs and video files belongs to the Association.
  3. The Association undertakes that, when documenting activities, it will not intrude into participants’ private lives, and that the resulting photographs and videos will be used only for activity documentation and for promotional activities, production of publicity materials and publications, and other purposes within the scope of the Association’s business.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The rights and obligations arising between members and the Association from members’ use of these services on the Association’s Websites shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China. Any disputes arising from members’ use of these services or from these Terms, if litigated, shall, unless otherwise mandatorily provided by law, be subject to the jurisdiction of the Taiwan Shilin District Court as the court of first instance.
