There is no endless rain; the sky will surely clear
This June, as the pandemic eased and restrictions were gradually lifted in various places, Dr. Red Nose were finally able to return to hospitals to provide services! I still remember stepping onto the floors of hospitals we had not visited for so long, and being greeted by the excited shouts and laughter of the children and their families, along with the medical staff’s warm and unceasing greetings. This feeling of returning home moved us deeply and became the motivation that keeps us—yes, us—going.
Because of the pandemic, we learned a great deal. Not only did we work with hospitals to establish a video performance model, but this experience also gave us the confidence to face other challenges in the future. Although we are gradually resuming in-person performances in hospitals, there are still some wards that we cannot enter to provide services at present. Therefore, we will continue to retain video performances in the future, so that laughter and warmth will not be limited by distance and can continue to reach the children who need them.
Once again, we thank all of you who supported Dr. Red Nose during this period, giving us the energy to continue improving and working hard. We believe that everything will develop in a positive direction!
