Happy New Year 🙂

December is like a big, gathering deep breath—steady and grounded. Looking back on the past year:

In spring, we set out on the Smile Tour Children’s Day nationwide tour: completing 36 performances at 22 hospitals across Taiwan. Starting from Kaohsiung, we headed north and east to reach Hualien and Taitung, bringing The Doctors Clown Happy Show into healthcare settings and bringing laughter and joy to more than 2,000 children, parents, and healthcare workers.

In the height of summer, we welcomed the seventh actor auditions with tremendous enthusiasm: 174 people applied, 48 were selected for the second round, and 12 were ultimately chosen to enter intensive training.

In winter, we gathered imagination into gifts and delivered them to hospital wards: This year’s charitable gift packages received a combined total of 1,100 sponsorships and purchases, reaching the target in a short time and witnessing the public’s deep care and solidarity for the children.

As of the day before yesterday, we had completed 1,557 service visits and accompanied 51,514 people; we also gradually established a presence at new locations, including Hsinchu Mackay Children’s Hospital, Shuang Ho Hospital, and Taipei Medical University Hospital. From 2015 to the present, Dr. Red Nose have served more than 256,000 people and delivered more than 8,135 performances.

Thank you for being with us, making “laughter arriving right on time” not just a wish, but an everyday reality.

In the new year, we will continue opening the doors to hospital wards, turning your care into smiles and bringing them to the faces of even more children 🙂
