In the field of helping work, you are always on the front line, shouldering the pressure.
You take on your clients’ anxiety and soothe their families’ uncertainty.
But after giving for so long, how are you doing?
This is not a performance class, but a space for rest and exploration designed especially for you.
This activity is fully subsidized by Dr. Red Nose, with no registration fee.
Come with a blank slate, like a sheet of white paper, and let us care for you with professionalism and laughter.
Dr. Red Nose is Taiwan’s only professional medical clown organization. For many years, we have not only brought laughter to patients and their families, but have also been dedicated to easing the tension in medical settings and improving relationships between patients and healthcare providers.
Through long-term observation, we have come to deeply understand the hard work of healthcare and social welfare professionals—you must not only focus on professional goals, but also maintain communication and connection with your clients. Much of the pressure and misunderstanding often arises from an earnest desire to do things well.
From the perspective of the performing arts, we have found that a small gesture, look, or touch of humor may make work processes smoother, keep you from being held hostage by tense emotions, and allow you to step back and see a broader perspective. Just come with a blank slate, like a sheet of white paper; on this day, let us care for you with professionalism and laughter.
This is not merely a performing arts workshop, but a professional course tailored specifically for helping professionals. Our goal is to share observations from clinical performances with front-line workers through the professional perspective and experience of medical clowns. The course includes:
No preparation is needed,
and no preconceived notions are required,
just bring a relaxed mind and a blank slate,
and embark on a joyful inner journey!

“Thank you, Dr. Red Nose, for organizing this activity. It gave me the opportunity to pause amid a state of high pressure, busyness, and inner exhaustion—and I was even healed. I left with a heart full of emotion and energy, no longer feeling exhausted as I had before. For the first time, I experienced such a safe environment where I could express myself freely. There was no judgment or pressure in this space, allowing me to return to self-care and gently soothe the emotions I had neglected.”
— Hou, field visitor, government agency
