Collaborative Research Application

Dr. Red Nose has long promoted medical clown services in medical and care settings, accumulating extensive practical experience and on-site observations. We look forward to systematically exploring the impact of artistic interventions on patients, families, and healthcare professionals through collaborative research with academic institutions, while advancing the professional development and knowledge accumulation of medical clowning in Taiwan.

We welcome interdisciplinary research collaboration to jointly establish evidence-based practices in arts-based care.

Collaborative Research Directions

Research topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • The impact of medical clowning on patients’ emotions and psychological support
  • Research on artistic interventions and holistic care models
  • Communication and relationship-building in medical settings
  • Research on stress regulation and workplace atmosphere among healthcare professionals
  • Models of artistic companionship in long-term care and community care
  • Interdisciplinary research on the performing arts and health promotion

Collaboration Methods

Depending on the research needs, the collaboration may include:

  • Interdisciplinary research teams in medicine, psychology, social welfare, the arts, the humanities, or related fields
  • Priority will be given to applicants with clear research objectives and an ethics review plan
