紅鼻子醫生前往國際小丑醫生大會 HCIM 2018！

This spring, Ma Ma, the founder of Dr. Red Nose, will travel to Vienna, Austria, to attend the International Clown Doctors Conference HCIM 2018 – The Art of Clowning: Connecting Culture, Health and Science 🎉

We are deeply honored to have been invited to this grand event and to have the opportunity to connect with clown doctor organizations and practitioners from around the world.

Yesterday, the conference’s official fan page featured Ma Ma. Watching it, we couldn’t help but feel deeply moved 😭

It was a feeling of “W E D I D I T!” 🎉

This is tremendous recognition and encouragement. We thank all of our supporting partners for helping the Dr. Red Nose project grow from a small sprout into a flourishing organization through everyone’s nourishment, support, and care. It has overcome many difficult challenges and continues to work hard in Taiwan to bring smiles to children.

We will do our best to let people around the world know that there is a large community in Taiwan that places great importance on child-friendly healthcare and passionately and warmly supports the promotion of clown doctors. We will also connect with clown doctors from around the world and bring our experiences, new knowledge, and insights back to our land! 💪🏻

Meet Chao-Chi Ma, founder of the first hospital clown association in Taiwan. She is joining us with the generous support of Fondation Alta Mane who supports artists from all over the world!

Chao-Chi Ma is an ancient student of Lecoq School and also alumnus of the course “Comedien-clown en etablissments de soins” of “le Rire Medecin” in Paris. She then created the first and the only hopsital clown association in Taiwan, “Dr. Red Nose”.

Since the creation of DRN in 2015, it has created performances for more than 30000 children in 5 different hospitals.

For her, the best part of the work is to see the smiles on the faces of children. What does she expect the most from HCIM 2018? To meet the clown doctors from all over the world! Especially other clown doctors from Asia like her!

Introducing Chao-Chi Ma, founder of Taiwan’s first clown doctor organization. With the generous support of the Alta Mane Foundation*, she will attend this year’s International Clown Doctors Conference.

Chao-Chi Ma is an alumna of the Jacques Lecoq International School of Theatre. After receiving professional hospital clown training from the “Le Rire Médecin” organization in Paris, France, she returned to Taiwan and founded Taiwan’s first and currently only local clown doctor organization—Dr. Red Nose.

Since 2015, Dr. Red Nose has served in five different hospitals and reached more than 30,000 people.

For her, the best part is seeing the smiles on children’s faces. What does she look forward to most about HCIM 2018? Meeting and connecting with clown doctors from around the world, especially clown doctors from Asia like herself!
